Our story
Who is AmbiciOsas?
Cristian and I (Angela) started the recycle day once Thursday a month in the Bahia Ballena Market in july, 2022. In the beginning it was only us, with our trucks driving around collecting and processing but sooner than later that was not enough. With our community's ongoing support, we are now able to provide a solution for plastic, glass, aluminium and cardboard. Because we collect and process:

so we dreamed big
we are the Osa Recycle Association
Today, we operate as a growing full-time community recycling association serving homes, businesses, tourism operators, and public spaces across the Osa region
You can find us in our center in the entrance of Bahia Ballena, next to Psycho Tuna Shop.
Ask you can imagine, we are so happy to help mother Earth cleaning and preventing all that recycle to become garbage in a land field. But we need a lot of help!
